ROULETTE AMERICAN ROULETTE:

American roulette is played both online and at a land based casino it is similar to the French or European. However it is not to the player’s advantage. The house advantage is really high. It is at 5.26% instead of 2.7% for the French roulette. This version is also played on a table containing a wheel on which the dealer throws the ivory ball on the table. However American version does have the same pockets as the European one. It just has an additional green pocket, the double zero (00). The table which the players use to place their bets is different. The centre is always composed of important numbers for the following bets straight up, split, street, corner, six line, trio, basket and top line. Below you can still bet on column but more on dozen. This bet is made on the right like the 6 outside bets: red, black, odd, even, high and low. In the American roulette when the ivory ball lands on the zero pocket or double zero, the player loses his chips if he bet on the outside bets. You are not allowed to place inside bets or to share them with the bank. With the introduction of the double zero case American roulette is less profitable for the player than French or European roulette.
